200 word challenge

i read about this some time back - writing 200 words a day for a month.  i try not to re-read my posts once i press "publish" because when i do, i realise i am long-winded.  a bit too much like i talk - which is a lot and often i babble.  so i am going to try this as a test.  since i have already wasted 62 words i have a quickie for you.

starting now.......

last night while trying to pack the leftovers neatly into fridge i thought that today, being a monday was the day to detox. while thinking along those lines i remembered this detox drink that i had made a month or two ago.  demi moore and aston kutcher drink it.  maple syrup, lemon juice, water and cayenne pepper.  the canadian kotze's who were here over christmas brought me this huge 1 litre bottle of organic maple syrup.  so i got working. but i got sidetracked.  i had a bag of limes (which are much nicer than lemons) so i put them into the blender with some ice cubes, i added a healthy amount of maple syrup. something about those two ingredients made me think that i was onto something special.  forget the cayenne pepper and water - i just added a cup* of whiskey.  whisked it up together - put it into a glass and settled down to watch the golf.  it was wonderful and so was the golf and NO i did not add the cayenne pepper and take it to work - i thought about it, but i didn't **

give the girl a bell's!!!

199 words not too bad hey.  i had to edit a bit after doing the word count so i took out a few words * (and a half) **(only because there were no leftovers!!)
